This is a web blog dedicated to the Kasese Humanist Orphans aka Bizoha Orphans It showcases the orphans under the care of Kasese Humanist School. The challenges, successes and plans reached on in ensuring the plight of these children is heard by the local and international community. All our orphans have a community belonging and are attached to their families and relatives. We however shelter some few at our schools especially those listed under full board sponsorships.

What are the problems faced by orphans in Uganda

Lack of access to education: Many orphans in Uganda are unable to attend school due to lack of funds or lack of access to schools.
Poor health care: Orphans often lack access to basic health care and medical attention.
Poverty: Orphans in Uganda are often living in extreme poverty and are unable to access basic necessities like food and shelter.
Lack of support: Orphans are often neglected by their families and communities and lack support.
Orphaned and abandoned children are vulnerable to cases of child abuse like forced manual labour,sex molestation and drug abuse.

These can have a serious impact on the lives of Uganda’s orphans. Without access to education and other basic necessities, these children are at risk of being exploited and falling into a cycle of poverty.
